Job Description


AMI is looking for an ambitious and talented Learner Success Associate to support in the implementation of cutting-edge blended and virtual learning programmes as face of AMI to our clients. This is a chance for a driven, organized, tech-savvy professional with good people and project-managing skills, and the ability to analyse an organisation and understand its learning and development needs.


The Learner Success Associate is responsible for managing core learner relationships for ongoing programmes, delivering engaging learning programs end-to-end, reviewing core learning outcomes and metrics and facilitating select client in-person or virtual learning sessions.


The successful candidate will report to the Lead, Client and Learner Success - Enterprise and collaborate with other Learner Success Managers, Associates and learning and business development teams to support clients across Africa. This is a chance for someone with a passion for learning, technology, development, and business growth to be part of Africa’s transformation. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in business consulting, training, management education or learning and development.


Responsibilities:

Learner Experience: Supporting learners to make the most of their learning journey with AMI;


Using and adapting engagement plans to support learners throughout their Learning Journey with AMI

Managing the online learning experience for participants, including creating learning journeys and managing an online learning academy

Providing group and 1-on-1 support to help learners to get started and navigate AMI’s online learning platform

Proactively problem-solving, flagging and following up on tech-related challenges with AMI’s Tech Team

Programme Management: Implementing the roll-out of AMI’s core programmes;


Mapping out a project plan, with clear timelines and priorities 

Co-facilitating programme kick-offs

Liaising with your assigned facilitator to ensure that all learning content is shared timeously 

Setting up and managing in-person / virtual touchpoints (Learning Labs) throughout the programme

Regularly checking / quality assuring data reflected in data dashboards to identify anomalies

Programme Completion: Regularly engage with learners to ensure they are on track to successfully complete their learning programme with AMI and have gained maximum value from their engagement with AMI


Flagging off-track or at-risk learners and working with the Lead: Learner Success to proactively problem-solve how to help learners to get back on track

Working with AMI’s data team to update and use cohort-level dashboards to regularly review key programme data points to assess progress against programme milestones 

Regularly presenting cohort progress to internal stakeholders

Providing up-to-date data and feedback about cohort progress to enable accurate and on-time reporting by the Client Success team

Collect data for strategic projects to drive response rates for longitudinal and annual impact data collection

Supporting the Learner Success team;


Participating in programme schedules, programme milestones and programme activities

Supporting logistics for in-person/virtual Learning Labs

Assisting members of the Learner Success team with one-on-one engagement as needed 

Peer Support: Actively participating in team collaboration days, regularly sharing learnings and best practice


Requirements


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution

Four (4) years’ experience in business consulting, company training, enterprise development or management education

Fluency in both English and French is an advantageous qualification

Skills & attributes


Strong analytical skills - ability to understand and analyse learning and development needs

Ability to identify business challenges and turn them into learning and development solutions

Proven programme management skills and experience

Experience working in entrepreneurial or high-growth environment

Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal with the ability to liaise confidently with clients

Ability to work with a diverse, high-performing, entrepreneurial team across Africa

Independent, self-motivated, and able to take full ownership of own workstreams

Training and facilitation skills is an advantage
